Each of my bowls is created using a kiln-forming technique called ‘slumping’. I make my own moulds by hand, for the glass to slump into during the kiln firing. The glass becomes molten and takes the form of the mould. As the mould is partially destroyed in the firing process, it needs to be rebuilt each time, meaning that each bowl has its own unique shape.
The following images are examples of bowls I have made which have since sold. If you’d like to commission a similar piece please contact me. Or browse the Shop for bowls available now.
