3 Hour Class for Two People

£450.00

During this class at my home studio in Bovey Tracey, Devon, you will learn the basics of working with glass enamel powders. You will each make a design for your own 25cmx 25cm wall plaque which I’ll fire for you, ready for collection another day. You could or frame it to hang as a work of art, or even mount it in your kitchen or bathroom as a feature amongst plain tiles. Alternatively you can collaborate as a couple and make one larger panel up to 25cm x 50cm.

Your design might be abstract or could incorporate a motif. The defined outlines are achieved with stencils, and we provide tools to create these; or if you prefer you can choose from several pre-prepared stencils including trees, flowers, seahorses and many more.

Whether you already work in glass, or are complete novices, I will tailor your tuition accordingly.

The all-inclusive cost covers your tuition, all materials that you will be using, and the item you make to take home. For more details please see our FAQs.

Classes are held in the morning from 9am and will last up to 3 hours. I am typically available for teaching on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings. Once you have booked online please contact us to arrange a mutually convenient date. You may prefer to discuss dates with us first, but a booking must then be made to secure the date in our calendar.

We have parking available for one car per booking. There is a bus stop nearby serving routes from Exeter and Newton Abbot. Full address details and directions will be provided with the booking confirmation.

My wife bought the taster class for me as a wedding present, one of the best I’ve had! Excellent course, Steve was good company and really knows his stuff, took me through the process and was on hand to help throughout. Plus the added bonus of a tealight made with my own (plus a bit of Steve’s) fair hand! Highly recommended!
